Dear all,

On

*Saturday 09.04. from 9:00 to 14:30 in HID,*

there will be a training seminar with the title *"Professional SCRUM 
training, process games, and group forming"* that serves as

*introduction and preparation for the "Software Engineering Lab 
(211500-SoSe22)" next semester (first lecture: Thursday 07.04., 16:15 to 
17:45, HZO 20).*

In the seminar, you will learn about the processes and team structures 
(i.e., building on SCRUM) that we will use during the lab, and thus *the 
seminar is key for the success of your projects*. Attending the seminar 
is important to learn details about SCRUM, learn about team dynamics, 
and meet with your group.

*Please bring some food and drinks, as no cafeteria is open in building 
ID on Saturday.*

To provide a highly interactive and interesting introduction into SCRUM, 
we hired two professional SCRUM trainers from Agile Experts 
(https://agile-experts.ch). The preliminary agenda is:
  - Scrum: Origin and background
  - Process games: Ubongo flow simulation, played in groups with moderation
  - When to apply agile processes? Advantages and limits
  - The agile mindset
  - The Scrum Framework, events, and roles, explained in detail, 
including eduScrum
*The training will be in German.* Moreover, the trainers will offer the 
*opportunity to obtain a professional SCRUM certificate with some 
additional training (costs around 50€)* as an additional benefit of 
attending the seminar. This certificate can be a major benefit for your 
future careers.
